The process involves selecting a single-point location from a map and getting the latitude and longitude coordinates. From that, the web server will produce the required data from which you will save as a .csv file. This file can then be read and imported by Hydrology Studio.<\/p>\n<h2>Acquire Data From BOM<\/h2>\n<p>Begin by visiting the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bom.gov.au\/water\/designRainfalls\/revised-ifd\/\">Bureau of Meteorology website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Select &#8220;Single Point&#8221; option to open the following screen:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1476\" src=\"https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"308\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1.png 308w, https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1-248x300.png 248w, https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1-41x50.png 41w, https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1-50x60.png 50w, https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/11\/AustBOD1-83x100.png 83w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 308px) 100vw, 308px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Using a separate tab in your browser, open Google Maps and identify your location. Then right-click to open &#8220;What&#8217;s here&#8221; menu. Copy and paste the coordinates, or enter directly, into the Latitude and Longitude fields.<\/p>\n<p>Enter a meaningful name in the Label field and then click [Submit]. The server will acquire the data for that location and display it in a table. Then click [Apply]. Click [Next] if you want to edit <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.hydrologystudio.com\/hydrology-studio\/knowledge-base\/idf-correction-factors\/\">Correction Factors<\/a>. An IDF extension will be applied. This file will automatically open each time you launch Hydrology Studio.
