To view these reports, click on the Reports tab. In addition, section-specific numerical results can be viewed on the Input Grid Results tab. This Results tab is very useful when needing to view certain parameters while working on the X-Sections, Profile or Plan tabs from the main screen.<\/p>\n<p>Separate reports are generated for bridge, culvert and weir sections. Just remember the laws of continuity, Q = V x A. Many engineers will attempt to check results using Manning&#8217;s equation to determine velocity. While open channel hydraulics employs Manning&#8217;s equation, the methodologies used here are much more sophisticated. But one thing always holds true&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Velocity = Q \/ Area.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Current Inputs<\/h3>\n<p>Channel Studio places a note at the lower left of the reports indicating the status of the outputs. If this note reads, &#8220;Results are not current with inputs&#8221;, you need to re-compute before accepting the results as shown.<\/p>\n<h3>Getting a Hard Copy<\/h3>\n<p>A formal presentation is available by clicking on the [Print] button on the top Ribbon Menu, Home tab.
